WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams released the following statement after House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Democratic leaders released a framework for the CLEAN Future Act.
“While we appreciate House Energy and Commerce Democratic members for their work to address climate change, we are disheartened that they have once again chosen to ignore the efforts of Ranking Member Walden and Rep. Shimkus to pursue bipartisan solutions. Congress must move away from a partisan approach to address climate change. It’s an unfortunate missed opportunity.”
Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) engages Republican policymakers and the public about responsible, conservative solutions to address our nation’s energy, economic, and environmental security while increasing America’s competitive edge.
